Mr. Johnson’ White bows witft pink net trim and white bells marked the pews.. “A Time for Us” and “Oh, Promise Me” were the vocal selections ; offered by, Pat Williams who v/as s accompanied by Deb Wolter.Given in marriage by her fath- j er, the bride wore a gown of lace over satin. The gown had puff chif- ■ fon sleeves and gathered empire waist accented by a satin ribbon forming a bow at the front. The bride’s veil was fingertip-length.A large bouquet of red and white roses completed the bride's ensemble. *s Maid of honor Maid of honor was Mary Hebell, Des Moines, friend of the bride. Mrs. Mary Dunlap, Denver, cousin of the bride, was bridesmatron. Georgia Wedemeier, Oran, sister of the bridegroom, and Karen Fasse, Denver, sister of the bride, were the bridesmaids.Both Mr. and Mrs. Wedemeier are 1970 high school graduates. She was graduated from Denver High and he, Wapsie Valley. Ushering duties were performed by Larry Bock, Denver, cousin of the bride,* and John Tiedt, Denver, friend of the bridegroom. The cake featured four-heart shaped cakes as a* base and pink and white rose trim.DEBRA CONE, RURAL DE-corah, was chosen a candidate for Iowa State Jersey Princess at Spook Cave earlier this week. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Cline. On July 13 she will compete in another. contest for the Iowa Dairy Princess -title in the fall.
