FILERMrs. C. B. Shaff was hostess Thursday afternoon at a dessert luncheon to members of the Washington Bridge club. Additional guests were Mrs. R. S. Armes, Mrs. Wynn Duerig. Mrs. Prank Monahan. Prizes went to Mrs. Luther Pierce, Mrs. C. E, Lancaster and Mrs. Armes. 'Mrs. George Zobanaky, who has been visiting ,at the home of her sister. Mrs. V. H. Munyon, has returned to Los Angeles.Mrs. Fred Reichert is at the county hospital where she underwent an operation Wednesday.Mrs. R, V. GUck was hostess Wednesday at a no-host luncheon to the Merry-Go-Round club.Mr. and Mrs. C. D. McKinley. Miss Helen Blass, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. McKinley and Ben HUton left Wednesday on a vacation trip to the west coast in California and will go to Portland, Ore., before returning home.Dr. and Mrs. J. E. Herr and family returned Wednesday from a vLstt with relatives at Salem, Ore,Ceder Draw club has invited Filer Woman's club members to be their guests Wednesday afternoon, June 18, at the Cedar Draw school house.Mr. and Mrs. Lyman M. Engle, Pocatello, are the parents of a son born June 8. He has been named Robert Lyman. Mrs. Engle was formerly Miss Genevieve Nicholson.Mrs. Clyde Welch and children left Saturday for a 10-day outing at Lava Hot springs.Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Embree andsons, Lewis and Paul, Yakima, Wash., arrived Wednesday for a visit at the F. C. Anderson home.Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Munyon, jr.. of Cherry vale, Kan., arrived Thursday for a visit at the H. Q. Munyon home.
