It is a 3 1-2 mile stretch and was completed three weeks ahead of the schedule time. The Lane construction Co., had the contract. With the completion of, this road the town is now connected , with an excellent slate road all the way into Pittsfield and it will undoubtedly be used a great deal this year by tourists as this will give the automobilist a chance for a fine road}rxby starting from here going to pttts-Leehome covering a distance of about 35 I miles and covering all the fine views ' ‘of southern Berkshire.—Nathan M. Shaw, Jr., who was operated upon at St. Luke's hospital in Pittsfield Memorial day returned to his home here on Thursday night. He will mot be able to resume his duties at Benjamin’s drug store in Stockbjidge for about two weeks.—G. F Troy has had an addition built to his home on Albany street.
