' Roeenbarger’s residence, 516 East Spring street. It wee alive and was takeo to St Edward's hospital.A girl babe, apparently about eight days old, was found’ last night by Mr. Frank H. Pennington on the front poroh of bis home at 415 Weft First street. It wee taken In charge by Probation Officer Kraft. IU parentage is being investigated.Mias Hardin, who is a daughter of William Hardin, a farmer reeiding in Georgetown township, has been em ployed as a domestic at tbe home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hanoock, 514 Eaat Spring street. Her condition had been suspected for several weeks, but she was able to do her housework and was not questioned.Aocording to her etory she arose about midnight and gave birth to the child io the oatbuilding in the rear of Mr. Hancock's house. She refused to admit that she had thrown the babe in the vault io the adjoining yard. This morning about 5 o'olock Mrs. Roesnbarger, who was in her rear yard, beard faint cries of a bsbe and notified her husband wbo made an investigation and foond the babe.
