Announce winners in Civic Oration ContestGreg Hopper and Tammy Mann (both in 7th grade) were chosen winner and runner-up, respectively, in the Equality Grade School Civic Oration Contest held May 26 under the sponsorship of Modern Woodmenof America.Daniel Holt, Modem Woodmen’s representative for the Southeast Illinois area presented the awards, trophies for the winner and runner u and certificates to all participants, at the Equality Grade School AwardsDay May 30. Hopper and Mann had their names engraved on a permanent trophy for the school, which Holt presented to pricipal Andy Hopson.Modern Woodmen of America appreciates Equality’s participation in this program and invites all area schools to become involved.
