One of Orrville’s aged citizens, Jonathan Dial, 86, father of Mrs. Jacob Frey died at the home of his daughter. Dial had come to Orr-ville in 1870 from Maysville, Ind. Jacob Stauffer, 74, veteran husinessman and veteran of the Civil War passed away at his home having been in failing health for several years. Stauffer was the donor of the town clock given in memory of his wife, Martha. Since the old Town Hall was replaced by a newer and more modern municipal building the clock has been stored away and ever so of ten. the subject comes up from one of our elderly citizens that it. should be brought out of storage and placed somewhere. It remains undone. •
