MRS. NELL BUXTONSULLIVAN - Mrs. Nell Buxton, 81, of Champaign, formerly of Sullivan, died at 5:10 a.m. Sunday in Champaign County Nursing Home.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Jonathan Creek Christian Church, near Sullivan, with burial in Jonathan Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at McMullin Funeral Home, Sullivan, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.Mrs. Buxton was born in Moultrie County, the daughter of James and Martha Davidson. She married Fredrick E. Buxton in 1916. He died in 1953.She is survived by two sons, Fredrick Jr. of Champaign and James W. of Durham, N.C.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.One daughter preceded her in death.Mrs. Buxton was a retired school teacher and a 70-year member of Jonathan Creek Christian Church.
