Steamships. — Mr. PeterRose, of the town of Milton, has left withtis a handbill printed in San Francisco,Representing that the passengers on the “Atlantic Mail Steamship,” Star of the West, were inhumanly treated during a trip from New York to Aspinwall. It is signed by a large number of persons, among them E. S. B. Vincent, and C. G*Rise of Milton, and J. C. Vannather of Delavan, in this state.
