MOTOR TRANSITThe Crown Stage lines pass to the control of the Motor Transit (company at midnight tonight, and Crown line stages will arrive and depart from the Motor Transit-t-Mckwick depot, at the southwest corner of llush and Fifth streets it was announced today by Lari Wilson, manager of the Crown lines Pointing out that the Motor Transit company’s system blankets California's four most densely populated connecting counties 1-os Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange—Wilson said that fol lowing the merger, the Motor 1 ran-sit would cover Santa Ana to I,os Angeles by way of Orange, Ana heim. Brea, T.a Habra and Whittier, Santa Ana to Los Angeles by way of Anaheim, Fullerton, Buena Park Norwalk, Santa Fe Springs and Bandini: Santa Ana to Riverside;Santa Ana to Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Balboa, Laguna Beach. ■ The Crown line from Long Beach to Pomona also has been taken over by the Motor Transit. ,It was said the Motor Transit’ would continue use of the northwest 1 corner of Bush and Fifth streets, headquartetrs for the Crown, as headquarters for shop work.With the consolidation effective ( at midnight, A. B. Watson, who: founded the Crown line 12 years aco, retires permanently from the field of motor bus operation here, i Watson built the business up from a line of three-touring cars to the immense equipment a.nd servit e the Crown has been rendering on its routes.
