A Surprise.A surprise dinner was given at the home of John Love, Sunday, July Id A enjoyable time was had. It was Mr. Love’s fifty-tilth birthday anniversary and was his first surprise. He was very much surprised when about noon his neighbor, friends and relatives began to gather in with well filled baskets. There were about sixty in number. Dinner was served about 12 o'clock. Prayer was olTered by Rev. Rosenbarger, pastor of the M. E. Church. After dinner the time was spent in Bocial chat. At 3 p. m. ice cream was served. The crowd departed late in the afternoon wishing Mr. Love many more such happy birthdays. Music was furnished by Robert Cooper 1 and Jess Love. Those present were: Henry Mettling and family.
