SundayJ Mr. Calvin and daughter motored to j Upland'to bring Mrs. Calvin home and' when they were driving along the IjO-gansport road ’.net south of John Clary's farm they met another oar which was going at a terrific speed and the road was rather narrow. Mr. Calvin gave as much of the roac as possible but the other car struck the Calvin car, breaking the end of the spindle which caused the wheel to drop oil. The parties did not stop to aid the Calvins in any way -or io see if any one was injure*! but fortunately they escaped a eerioue accident and no one was hurt.Mr. and Mrs. D. B.
