EUGENE ALLEN GOEPFNEREugene Allen is the name given the eight pound one and one-half ounce son born July 16 to Mr. and Mrs. John J. Goeppner of R. 2, Jasper. He was baptized July 21 by Rev. Carl Shetler in St. Mary’s Church, Ireland. Mrs. LeeEtta Brames of Vincennes and Donald E. Scherle of Fort Knox, Kentucky, are his sponsors. The baby’s grandfather, Leo Scherle, of R. 1, Jasper, served as proxy. Mrs. Goeppner is the former Maldred Scherle.
