Revisions of the premium list and other plans for the county fair to be held August 26 and 27 were discussed.(IIiiPatiA County Wide Event*Last fall when the extension program was planned, homemakers voted to substitute a county wide one day event for a longer homemakers camp. Star Valley council officers met with the South County Council officers at Kemmerer on Wednesday July 20, to make further plans. The event will be held on August 5. They expect to start regular practice in the near future. They are making arrangements for a range near town where they can practice and hold matches.!\C$ceII1SIAFTON FIRE DEPARTMENT HOLDS ANNUAL CHICKAREELast Saturday evening all of firemen of the Afton Volunteer Fire Department and their partners met in Swift Creek Canyon for their annual summer chickenfry,The party was under the direction of fireman LaVell Eddins, the department entertainment chairman. A very nice dinner was served along with various entertainment numbers.
