Lifelong Resident Of illis County Dies At Age 71 At St. AnthonyMr s. Ellen Miller, a lifelong resident of Ellis rounty, died this morning at St, Anthony hospital. She was 71.Mrs. Miller was the daughter of James M. Behan and Mary McDermott, early settlers in the Victoria area. She was born on the family ranch near Victoria and attended the public schools in Mays and Port Hays Normal School.Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband. Charles A. Miller, a well-known Hays realtor, in 1955.Two daughters also survive. They are Mrs. Mary Cramer. Santa Clara. Calif., and Mrs: Eileen Johnson. Dallas, Tex. Other survivors include a brother, Robert Behan, Oakley, and four grandchildren.Mrs. Miller had been in poor health for two years and had been hospitalized since April of this year.Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Episcopal church with the Rev.Howard Trask officiating. Burial will be at Ml. Allen cemetery. Mali's Morford Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
