BLOUNTS VIJULB.Frank Boyer passed Sunday with his many friends at this place,L. T. Howell has accepted a position with E. Triit in the dry goods store,Mrs. John Macy and daughters, of Rnahville. were 'visiiiog ber sister, Mrs. William Ely, tbe past week.Rev. Newhouse preached two able sermons on last Sabbath to the good people of this community. They were highly appreciated.Harvest is over and we hear the hum of tbe threshing machine In the land. Wheat is yielding yery .well and is of a good quality.Eldon Thornburg has started a store in Modoo and will move bis fmiiy to that place as sooa as he can get a residence prepared for them.Jordan Bundy is butchering some very fine stock, and is fifltmg a long-fell want in oar town. We must say that “Jord” understand his business.
