Newhouse preached two able sermons on lost Sabbath to the good people of this community. They were highly appreciated.Harvest is over and we hear the hum of the threshing machine in the land* Wheat is yielding yery .well and is of a good quality.Eldon Thornburg has started a store in Modoc and will move his family to that place as soon as he can get a residence prepared foe them.Jordan Bundy is butchering some very fine stock, and is filling a long-felt want in our town.
