1460, the exact year ft is impossible to tell.An old book is esteemed valuable in proportion to its age and rarity, whether the stuff in it is worth readmit or not. One of tbese old books in our library is of tbe date of 147b, and is stilt in its original binding. It is a volume of tbe Sermons of Leonard! de Utino. It is considered tbe proper thing to go wild over all books printed previous to the year 1600. Our library contains some fifty volumes older than that year. A few of tbese quaint old books are worth many times tbeir weight in gold. It is a sc b-by little ,tbin book, of which there are but five co as In America. It is worth $300 in gold. Another n-cient book of the date of 1679 is a copy of Amertfco Vespucci’s discoveries. Also a scrubby little bW worth 1300 in gold. Still a third old booitts “Acuna’s Amazon River, 1641. $125 in gold.
