wc arc uui anjucio^*SUFFERED MAXY DEATHS.William H. McDaniel Succumbs to the Rav-ages of the Dreaded Cancer.William H. McDaniel who had been a sufferer from cancer of the face for fifteen years died at his home north of Lebanon Wednesday afternoon, June JO, '97. The disease made little headway until about three years ago. Treatment was sought and obtained from several sources, but the relief was only temporary. Starting on the lower lip, it enveloped the entire chin and a part of the neck eating same away exposing bloodvessels and windpipe, causing the deceased to suffer a hundred deaths before relief came.Mr. McDaniel was born in Kentuckj near Lexington, June 9, ’43, but came to Indiana in early life. On June 22, 1861 he married Miss Ellen Peck, near Ladoga, who with one child survives him. He also leaves four brothers and four sisters, viz: James andHenry and Mrs. Albert Gentry of Lebanon; Samuel McDaniel and Mrs. Martha Gregoiy of Ladoga; Mrs. Sarah Bymaster of North Salem; George McDaniel of Advance; and Louisa Randall, of Dover.The funeral occurred at 7:30 o'clock Thursday morning from the residence,.
