Marshal Hinds officiated at the 1:30 p.m. double ring ceremony.Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. Mrs. Carl A. Shields of Cedar Rapids and Mr. Mrs. Louis Lange, jr., of Nashua.Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was dressed in a floor length Empire gown of dacron dotted Swiss, with yellow daisiedVenise lace. Venise lacetrimmed the high neckline, the tops of the deep cuffed, long bishop sleeves, and the top of the deep ruffle at the bottom of her A - line skirt. Satin ribbon marked the Empire waist.Her veil was a matching mantilla of a double layer of illusion caught to a pillboxand bordered with Veniselace, which fell to floor length. She carried white daisies and stephonitis on a white Bible.The maid of honor. Dianne Feiereisen of Cedar Rapids, wore a gown patterned after the bride’s, of yellow dotted Swiss with white daisied Ven ise lace trim. The four ladies at the serving table are ■ all aunts of the bride.A dinner, given by the groom's parents, was served the preceding Friday night at the Cedar Restaurant for the immediate family.Following a six week wed ding trip to Europe, the couple will be at home in Burlington.The bride, who has her B.A. degree from the University of Northern Iowa, and groom, with both a B.A. and an M.A. from UNI, are employed as librarians in the Burlington Community Schools.
