ADDIE VAN MATRE. . . services lodavMrs. Van MatreRifesEdinburgFuneral will be held at 4 p.m ’ Saturday at Skinner Mortuary in Edinburg for Mrs. Addie Van Matre. 86, who died Thursday in Hendrick Memorial Hospital Mrs. Van Matre, who lived at 1225 Poplar with a daughter, Mrs Della Mae Metcalf, moved to Abilene in 1947 from Edinburg. She will be buried besidethe grave of her husband, Joseph R. Van Matre, who died in 1938 at Edinburg.She had been ill for about a month and critically ill for a week The body was taken to Edinburg Friday from Elliott's Funeral Home.Survivors, in addition to Mrs.Metcalf, are seven sons, D. C, of Rt. 3, Abilene, Jay of 1250 Locust, Riley of La Porte, Mack , of Green's Bayou, Wesley of i Alma. Ark , Lewis of California and John R. of McAllen , Her oldest son, Clovis, died ] last March in South Texas.
