GEORGE ELSTONDIED TUESDAYGeorge W. Elston died ;it tlic Wabash Valiev, sanitarium, near Lafay-:eltc, late Tuesday aflernoon of a complication of diseases. Mr. i Elston was horn in White county, I December 29, 1851, but later went to Tippecanoe county with his parents. Me was educated at the old ! Battle Ground institute, and was graduated from that institution in 187*1, at the time Prof. .Rice was in charge. He was married and was the father of one child, but his wife and child died several years ago. Me was a charter member of theBrookston lodge of Knights of Pythias. Surviving arc four brothers. Othia and Garrett Elston, of Brook-ton. and Frank and Joseph Elston, who live on the old homestead north of Battle Ground, and three sisters, Mrs. M. .1. Ginn, of Carroll county; Mrs. N. J. Carlmilc of Stock-well, and Mrs. .1. H.
