Klan Women at Funeral. |Funeral services were held at Va-Jer Tuesday afternoon from theEvangelical church for Mrs. Ophelia \wmiller, who died Saturday morn-.ng after an illness of only a week, at!;he age of 32 years. Reverend Lor-mer, Christian minister from Cen-Jralia, officiated at the church. Mrs. jBurton Thorpe, accompanied by Mrs. 3. Holycross, sang three beautifultolos, “Shadows in the Valley/'‘Jesus, Savior, Pilot Me” and “Safe n the Arms of Jesus/’ Pallbearersivere from the Cowlitz Klan with hon-jrary pallbearers from the women’s»rder. The Vader band, of whichVfrs. Awmiller and Mr. Awmiller were nembers, played as the funeral pro-session entered and left the church.kbout fifty Klansmen and women vere present, coming in a body from ;he hall, wearing their regalia.
