Meetings are usually ; held the first Thursday of each j month, but for January the meeting was scheduled for.Wed- ] nesday due to plans to have a i special speaker. However, due i to unforseen circumstances thespeaker, Mrs. Mary Harris, lt;Berwyn, was unable to attend. The weather so severe only bn$ of the officers was present. The meeting was held with Mrs. A. Yleen presiding. Due to absence of the secretary, ! Mrs. Lorne Simpson, Mrs. Palmer Heece accepted duties as ! secretary - treasurer. A sleigh ride was planned for January 1 23. After deciding to leave other business until the ^officers 1 were present lunch waiiepVed by the teachers. ,Mrs. Gunner Krig has been confined to bed with a severe cold.
