N., practical arts instructress at the hospital, prepared a report of the School of Nursing.Her report showed that the school of nursing is represented by the following groups: Instructresses, two; supervisors, five; head nurses, two; student nurses, 27; seniors, eight; intermediates, four; juniors, eight; preclinical, seven.The number of students admitted were 22; the number resigning, seven; the number completing course, six; the number of students ill, 18; and the number of days absent. 139.All students are given affiliations as follows: Children’sHospital, Portland, three months; Margaret Hague hospital. Jersey City, N. J., three months; and State Hospital, Concord, N. H.. four months.Telling of student activities, Miss Antworth reported that capping ceremonies were held twice last year at the completion of the preclinical year.
