Torofito Doctor Conunences Practice la Battle River AreaDr. Kenneth A. Brown, physician and surgeon, arrived recently to commence a medical practice in the Battle River area. Dr. Brown is a graduate of Toronto University, where he was an outstanding scholar and was active in athletics. While an intern at the Toronto General hospital he was president of the staff of internes. Previous to coming to the district he was in the Canadian army.Mrs. Brown is a graduate in Arts at Toronto University. They have a five-months-old daughter, Elisabeth Ann.Dr. Sheridan and Mrs. Sheridan, who resided here for two years left recently to take up residence elsewhere. Dr. Sheridan commenced his practise here torelieve Dr. W. A. Doldge, expecting to remain for six months, but due to shortage of doctors remained for the longer period. Dr. Sheridan is a retired medical missionary from China.Bom, at Battle River hospital: January 10, to Mr. and Mrs. A. Boos, Nottkewin, a son; January 16, to Mr. and Mrs. O. Parenteau, Paddle Prairie, a son.
