Milton John WeigelWESTMINSTER, Colo. — Milton John “Bud” Weigel, 70, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, in Westminster.He was born March 21,1933, in Ellis to John J. and Mary Weigel. He graduated from Ellis High School in 1951. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He retired from Phillips Petroleum.Survivors include his wife, Betty, of the home; a son, Wendell, Snohomish, Wash.; a daughter, Rachel, Fort Bragg, N.C.; a brother, Alfred, Overland Park; two sisters, Mary Krannawitter, Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Henrietta Herl, Tribune; and four grandchildren.Services were Jan. 16 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Westminster; burial was Jan. 19 in St. Mary Cemetery. Ellis.
