The company now owns all the quarries at the island, aod controls the output of the kilns at Marblehead, The lime kilns now in operafion by the company are aa follows: Kelley’sIsland, sixteen, daily capacity, 1,00(1 barrels; Cleveland, iwo, daily capacity, 300 barrels; Duluth, three, daily capacity, 450 barrels; Marblehead, eight, daily capacity, 400 barrels.The Cleveland and Duluth kilns are supplied with stone from Kelley’s Island, and the supply is transported to those places on the steamers Jim Sheriffs and Albert Y. Goweo. The company has distributing depots at Cleveland, Buffalo, Detroit and Du* lufch, and is undoubtedly the largest lime corporation in the country, having, it is paid, a paid up capital stock of about $800,000, The stock is largely owned by Cleveland capitalists, although many interests are held in several of the larger lake port cities, in-eluding a small amount in Sandusky,Mr, Caleb E.
