She-was a registrar oo the election board 48 years, starting soon after women were allowed to vote.She was a member of Colfax Rebecca Lodge No. 24 of Nampa, the Neighbors of Woodcraft, Nampa Fifty Year Club and a former member of the Women's Century Club.Survivors Include her son, William A. Shumate of Nampa; two sisters, Mrs, Mayme Davis, Nampa, and Mrs. Leslie Bass, Milwaukie, Ore.; two grandsons and a granddaughter. A daughter, Thelma, and a son, Ronald A., preceded her in death.
