The cass of the State on relation of Clara M. Dickey vs. Charles M. Hull, for bastardy, on change of venue from Ripley county, was concluded Saturday evening. The jury got the case about 7 o’clock and were out until 11 o'clock, returning a verdict for plain* tiff’‘that Charles M. Hull is the father of her child.” The Court entered judgment against Hull for $400, p.'vable to the plaintiff for the maintenance and education of the child. This was one of the foulest cases that has ever been on the dockets of this circuit. We might give our readers the sum and substance of the testimony, but it is not fit to go in print. It is a stubborn fact that some of our best church members sat and heard the evidence through to the last. We hope this is the last case of the kind.
