A celebration of life will be planned later.Born August 3,1963 in Olney, she was an Olney High School graduate and attended Vernon College.She worked for 21 years for Gene Linton at Allstate as support staff until illness lead to her retirement.Melanie was an active member of Southwest Baptist Church in Wichita Falls where she had taught a children’s Sunday school class and sang in the choir.In addition to being a great cook she had baked and decorated wedding and birthday cakes for family and friends.Survivors include
