Mayor J. C Martin, party president who i ? scheduled to speak on television tonight, said this morning.“We may not announce our candidates until filing time/' Martin said, “or we may wait until all the candidates announce then do it by endorsement.-'The deadline for filing for the April 5 election is e a rly March, 30 days before the elec tion.Martin says he will speak at 8:30 p. m. tonight on television and radio as president of the Independent Club urging the voters to purchase their poll taxes.
