FIIHl SUMMONS TO J PIONEER.Mrs. Susanna Graber Died Monday Morning.A WIDELY KNOWN RESIDENT.The Deceased was the Wife of the Late S'imuel Graber—A Family Survives—Funeral will be Held Wednesday Afternoon from St. John’s Church.Mrs. Susanna Graber, wife of the late Samuel Graber, died at her home, two miles west of Massillon, of theinfirmities of age, at 2:30 o’clock Monday morning, aged 79 years. She had been in failing health for manymonths. Miss Elizabeth Graber, a daughter, lived with her and cared for her in her declining years. Mrs. Graber was born in Switzerland, coming to this country at the age of li years and settling with her parents in Mt. Eaton, Wayne county, where in a few years following she was married to Samuel Graber, who departed this life in 1881. Mr. and Mrs Graber lived at that place until 1868, when they moved to Stark county and settled on the farm west of the city, which has long been known as the Graber homestead and where both the husband and wife died.There are surviving four sons, Aaron, Wilson, Samuel and Leander Graber, all well known business men, and the following daughters: MissEliabeth Graber, Mrs. Emanuel Horn-berger, Mrs. William Wefler, of Massillon; Mrs. Nicholas Ricksecker and Mrs. John Mesner. of Mt. Eaton ; * Mrs. John Ruch, of Beividere, Tenn.; Mrs. Adeline Loroux, of Starling, and Mrs. William Hawk, of RichvilleMrs. Graber was one of the sturdy pioneers of the state and gave liar life to the rearing of a large family, members of which have now reached their majority. The sons have all entered into active business aud are prominently known in the city and surrounding country.At an early age Mrs. Graber united with the Evangelical church. The fuueral will be held from thd late residence Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 o’clock and from St. John’s church at 1:30, the Rev. J. E. Digel officiating Interment will be made in the Ma3sillou oemetery.
