Vanya Irene Stewart, who weighed six pounds (vo ounte es, was born to Mrs.Theopilus Stewart at Cannon Air Force Base Hospital at 7:47 a.m. Jan. 1. Tanya's father is Airman Third Class Theophlus Stewart, a clerk in the control center, Civil Engineers, at Cannon. The child is the first for the couple, who hail from Peters burg, Va. Airman Stewart, who did appear too nervous from the ordeal, said he was at the hos pital when his 19-year-old wife gave birth to Tanya. Stewart is 23. Clovis Memorial Haspttal's first baby of the new year was a boy born to Mr. and Mrs. Cy Nickarson, 620 Sandia. The infant weighed seven pounds two and a half ounces and arrived on the scene at 3:38 ppm. Nurses at Cannon and Clovis Memorial Hospitals said hott mothers and their babies were doing fine.
