GALESBURG’S FIRST BABY OF NEW YEAR—Mr. and Mrs. Gene C. LaFollette, 773 Day St., became parents of the firstbaby bora in Galesburg in 1959. Lester Lee LaFollette, shown with his mother at Cottage Hospital, was born New Years Day at 5:50 a. m. In addition to gaining a $600 income tax exemption for his father, Lesier Lee also collected an array of special gifts, most oi them for his own use and some for his parents,donated by Galesburg business firms.
