In recent years descendants of WilliamwBlair erected over his grave in Round Prairie cemetery a fine granite monument, hearing the following inscription :—WILLIAM BLAIR.Born, Lancaster Co., Pa., 1760.Died, Des Moines Co., Iowa, 1840.A Soldier of the American Revolution. An Elder in the Presbyterian Church.A Pioneer in Pa., Ky., Ohio, Ind., 111., Iowa.
