HOLD INDIGNATION S MEETING TO OPPOSE ACTION OE BOARDFTrades Assembly Asks Citizens Meet Tonight to Join in Protest Against Allowing Brokers’ Fee. iso.OBJECT TO PAYING ANY ONEHead of Labor Organization Says Members Feel That Board Should Select High School Site.An indignation meeting, to protest action of the board of education in awarding a contract to real estate brokers to ■‘obtain options on proposed sites for the new high school buildi«gr^iill be held by the trades assembly in its quarters at No. 114 West Sixth street tonight.The meeting is to be open to the public, and an invitation to every person to attend was issued yesterday by Jesse Shelby, president of the trades assembly. The meeting will begin at 7:30 o’clock.J,alor Meu Object.Since The Globe recently published a statement to the effect that the board of education had employed Howard Brown, a real estate ..rm, to obtain options on property situated within a district designated by the board, active members of the trades assembly voiced protest of the action. This will amount to approximately $2,r00.
