Richard Burke, one of the pioneer settlers of this county, died at hie home near Perry, Oklahoma* on Mon* day last. His remains were brought to LeMars tor burial Funeral services were hold Thursday morning at the St. James Catlioio church. Two brothers and three sisters of the deceased survive him. The former are Michael and Ed ward Burke, of Oklahoma, the latter, Mrs, Patrick Flynn, of Sioux City, the other two sisters being in convents at Dubuque and Chicago, respectively, Mr.;B«rke during his long residence in this part of the country has made many warm friends to regret his loss.M AMtfk ff a! 11 a. .___
