Mrs. Malcolm Gigstad gave a very interesting lesson on “Taming Tensions.” A white elephant sale was held following the meeting. Worthy Matron Sammie Lamme and substitute worthy patron, Hubert Beyer presided. Reports were given by Janet Christie who visited Wathena chapter when the worthy grand matron and worthy grand patron made their official visit, and by Doris Barthel and Katrina Wohlgemuth vho visited Hiawatha chapter when a past matron and past patron’s evening was held and also a 50-year jewel presented. Myrtle Tinsley explained “Proving Chapter” for the good of the order. A money making fun game was held during the social hour. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Evelyn Ray. Emma Higley was also a substitute officer.
