McLean, of St. Petersburg Florida, will be interested in the amusing tale connected with the arrival of their little son. Thomas Edwin McLean, born on Valentine’s day at the Mound Park hospital in St. Petersburg. Mrs. McLean wasMiss Grace Bell, of Hammond, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bell. She and Mr. McLean have one lit*tie daughter and now a little boy. The following article appeared in the St. Petersburg Times:Thomas Edwin McLean, born at Mound Park hospital Saturdaymorning at 1:45 o’clock, Is St, Petersburg's Valentine baby, and wins fifteen handsome gifts for himselfand his parents.A better . Valentine than any contraption of paper and paint Is this eight pound and nine ounce youngster and the hospital folkshave claimed him as their best token of the day.The Valentine baby, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. A. C. McLean, of 1000 Twenty-second avenue, north, pretty near lost the contest to a baby girl, daughter ofMr. and Mrs. J. R. Dobbs, but the young lady arrived thirty minutes before St. Valentine’s Day was officially on.Keen interest has centered about the third annual contest of The Times,, won in 1923 by Paul Webb and in 1924 by Miss Anna-bell Russ. The arrival of Master Thomas Edwin McLean again swings the Valentine balance in favor of the boys.Mother and baby are to receive beautiful gifts, while Mr. McLean,of the St. Petersburg Beal Estate Bureau, receives only a gallon of paint, to satisfy his probable desire to paint the town red.Thomas Edwin will have everything from a piece of St. Petersburg property, deed and all, to a bank account and a supply ofsafety pins, etc.Dr. T.
