Phillips said. | The coroner decided an inquest lt;would not be r.ecc sary. 1Ray had borrowed the death \ dealing shotgun about a half 1 hour before his d:ath from .another roomer, Joe McCormick.McCormick he wanted to use it to hunt rabbits this morning. ,Harry Ralph Ray, son of William and Martha Bird Ray, was born in Muscatine, May 7, 1908, and spent his entire life here. He married Margaret Shoemaker on Sept. 10, 1934 at Rock Island and her death occurred on March 27, 1942. He was a button cutter by trade.Surviving are his 'parents. Mr. and Mrs. William Ray of Muscatine; a brother, Ivan Rav of Muscatine, a half brother, Richard Ray of Portland. Ore., a half sister, Helen Landenbury of Minneapolis. Minn, rTh? funeral rites will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Ralph.• J. Wittich Funeral home where j ;he body is remaining. The Rev. Paul V. Clark of the United Brethren church will be in charge.\
