Obituary.WARNER.J cob Wesley Warner, son of David and Margaret Warner, was born in Preble county, Ohio,* January 19, 1844, died February 6, 1901, agedfifty-seven years and seventeen days About the year 1859 his parents moved to Miami county, Indiana, and settled on the farm where he resided until his death. In the year 1863, at the age of nineteen, he enlisted as a recruit in Co. D, Twelfth Indiana Cavalry, serving until the close of the war, being mustered out at Vicksburg. Mis.issiopi, December 1865. On the 29th of March. 1866, he was united in marriage to Eva Shafer, to whicn union was born ten children of. whom William, the oldest son. has preceded him to the spirit land. Those who survive are Mrs. Alice Newton, Peru. Ind., Mrs. Maggie Wagaman and Mrs. Grace Brown, of Kokomo, Mrs. Della Gregarv, Mrs. Rose Long. Mrs. Emma Winters of this county and Miss OUie and Masters Walter aod Adrian. B j-sides these he leaves an aged mother, his loving companion, two brother* and three sisters, who mourn the los» of a dutiful son, an affecioaate husband an J kind and sympathetic brother. Early in life he united with the M. E. church at Perrysburg aarl later with the Five Corner church, with which he remained a faithful Christian worker until death. H was a memb ;»• of the I. O. O. F. ar Deedsville and was very highly esteemed by the brothers in th it order; was also a member of the G. A. R Post at Macy.
