Patients to receive favors from scoutsFour hundred and seventy-five patients within Kokomo will feel a note of warmth and appreciation today when they are paid a call by some of the city’s girl scouts. The girls will add a little cheer at How-are County, Pleasant Rest, Kokomo Convalescent, Good Samaritan, Lucy Cole and Hillcrest Nursine Home. Thev will alsoW »visit the patients on each floor of St. Joseph and Howard Community Hospital.Tonight at dinner each patient will find a simple favor on his tray.Doing tor others is a service taught inw w wscouting. And this is one of their many projects.Twelve troops in all are taking part: Brownie troop 43, troop 31, troop 84, troop 138, troop 29, troop 100, Brownie troop 15, Brownie troop 151, troop 54, Brownie troop56, troop 25, Junior troop 68, and troop 104.
