DOUBLE CHECK BIRTH AND DEATH REPORTSEl Paso Registrar to Receive StateMemoranda FirstW. A. Davis, state vital statistics registrar, and City Registrar Alex K. Powell today began a new system of reports, designed to keep El Paso among those cities reporting at least 90 per cent of all deaths and births.Dr. Davis wrote all physicians, midwives, undertakers and cemetery sextons requesting their cooperation in obtaining 100 per cent birth and death registrations. He requested them to make their regular state reports through Mr. Powell’s office hereafter to permit Mr. Powell to check them against his records.
