Born Feb. 13, 1878, at Adair, Iowa, Mrs. Cook has been a resident of South Dakota since 1903. She has lived in Huron since 1922. She has six children, Mrs. Verna Rogers, Mrs. Edith Brandenburg, Huron: Mrs. Clara Shepard, Pipestone. Minn.; Mrs. Loretta Quick, Buena, Wash.; Ralph Peters, Pierre; and Mrs. Gladys Moulton, Rialto, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
