SHOWER A miscellaneous shower was held Sunday afternoon in the home of Mrs. Gilbert Pettit near Modena in honor of Miss Sandra VanCourt of Kewa nee. EAGLE CLUB MEETS . The ‘Eagle club met Monday eve ning in the home of Mrs. Grace Nel son. Non-member guests were Mrs. Arthur Colgan, Mrs. Lee Humphrey, Mrs. David Crone, and Miss Neora Janssen. The next meeting of the club will be held In two weeks in the home of Mrs. Nellie White. BROWNIE TROOP 301 MEETS Brownlie Troop No. 301 met Monday and elected new officers. The new president is Kathy Blakey and the new secretary is Phyllis Johnston. We learned a Brownie Scout song and played the peanut game, Maureen Cahill will, bring refreshments to the next meeting. —Ann Fehrenbacher, re porter, GIVES BIRTHDAY PARTY Yommy Down, eight year old son of Mrs. Warren Down, entertained his classmates of the Valley school with a birthday party Saturday afternoon. School will be dis missed at 3 o'clock. A guest, speaker has been engaged by the committee in charge. Refreshments will be served by the fourth grade mothers.
