LA FOLLETTE(Special to The Journal)WASHINGTON—Wisconsin s politically prominent family, the La Follettes, had a new heir today as Sen. and Mrs LaFollette announced the birth of a seven-pound son in Washington Sunday night.Mother and son. the excited senator said, are doing very nicely.The child is the second son born to the progressive senator and his wife The first, Joseph Oden La Follette. was born Apr. 25, 1933 The senator was married Sept. 17, 1030, to his former secretary. Richael Wilson Young, WashingtonThe senator’s younger brother and sister-in-law. Gov. and Mrs. La Follette of Wisconsin, expect their third child within a month.The child wa* named Bronson Cutting La Follette, in memory of Sen. Bronson Cutting of New Mexico, victim of an airplane accident last .summer. He bequeathed $50,000 to Sen. La Follette and $25,000 to Gov. La Follette.
