Daniel Maudlin, of Kokomo, wa arrested last evening in a maudlin condition. He had entered the res taurant on North street at the corner of Fifth, conducted by a man named Purcell, and fell prostrate upon the floor. The inmates of the restaurant called the police and the fellow was taken to the station house and later to jail. At the jail he became deathly sick and the county physician was walled. He examined the patient and pronounced him the subject ol knockout drops «»r some other nar cotics. After several hours he amused from the eomotoae condition and this morning was all right.
