Pioneers winj unior varsitybattle, 49-45MANSFIELD — Elyria won the junior varsity game from Mansfield last night. 49-45. coming from an 11-point deficit after one quarter.Bob Bosley tossed in 12 points for the Pioneers and Gary Stevenson 10. including a pair of free throws in the waning moments which cemented the victory. It was Elyria third win in five games.Coach Butch Sooy's crew also did a good job def ensive-lv.holding the Tygers to 28 points in the last three quarters.
