Mrs. B. Flynn was hte recipient of many beautiful gifts on Tuesday evening, Dec. 8, when about 20 friends gathered for a shower in her honor. Bunco was enjoyed.Mrs. Dorothy Harvey entertained the Olivettes at bridge on Monday evening.Mrs. J. McCormick visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. 0. J. Bowen, on Sunday.Mrs. E. F. Onyon is on the sick list.Mr. and Mrs. Kotrba of Chicago were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Lallak.Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hanson announce the birth of a son at Ingalls hospital on Tuesday, December 15.Mr. and Mrs. A. Jensen of Pullman were Sunday evening guestsof Mr. and Mrs. E. Porter.Mr. and Mrs. Theiss of Akron. Ohio, who are on their way to Florida to spend the winter, visited with Mr. and Mrs. J. Bushen on Thursday.The Mens’ Brotherhood of No. Harvey are having their Christmas party and turkey dinner at the Bryant school on Friday evening.Mrs. B. McKinney of Winchester, Tenn., is visiting with her daughter, Mrs. B. Flynn.A. Skidmore is ill, suffering with pleurisy.Mr. and Mrs. F. Fahrbach of Chicago were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earle Porter. -Betty Mae Courtney entertained a group of school mates at her home on Saturday evening. Games and refreshments were enjoyed.Shirley and Beverly Koch of Roseland spent two days lastweek with their grandmother,Mrs. C. Koch.Mr. and Mrs. Ben Flynn of Morgan street are the proud parents of a girl born Tuesday at Ingalls Memorial hospital.The Mens’ Brotherhood are holding their annual supper Friday, Dec. 18, at 6:30 at the Bryant school. All the members will entertain their wives and guests on this occasion to a turkey sun-per, so don’t forget to be present..
