YERINGTON, Nev., Dec. 16—(Special) .—Mrs. Cnthertn e Burns was hostess to her bridge club Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John B. Ross. Ac the close of the afternoon refreshments were served. The guests Included Mes-dmes Johu Ross, Sr, Bert Newcombe, E. F, Rathbun, Leroy Taylor Anna Peterson, Elizabeth Monahan and Carrte Mayes.Mr. and Mrs. Bert Newcombe and son, Charles, Mr. and Mrs. George Ellis and children and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Snyder went to Reno last week to attend a meeting and banquet for members of the American Radio Relay League.Sam DuPratt was taken suddenly 111 with appendicitis on Tuesday and waa taken to Vallejo. Cal., where he underwent an operation. His condition is reported as favorable.Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Johnston spent several days in San Francisco this week. They returned Wednesday accompanied by Mrs. Ruel E.
